Old Friends (Nog even goeie vrienden) is a 15 minute short fiction, momentarily in production. The film finds a balance between drama and comedy, addressing themes like loneliness, old age and vulnerability. It is an uncensored reflection of a forgotten group in our society and serves as a call to intimacy and connection. Produced by Rauwkost Film.
Within the steam room of a swimming pool, the two best friends Leen and Wil might be having their last conversation ever. Whilst one is trying to communicate something life changing, the other is trying to dodge the conversation. Hidden behind the thick steam they're both trying hard not to show their emotions, afraid of being left in loneliness.
